Funny Books

I know that although nowadays, if you want to find something funny, you switch on your television and start watching. Even though there are funny shows and movies on television, many people forget forget that there are plenty of books out there that are very funny, even avid readers. Here is a book and author that I find are humorous

1. Terry Pratchett: This guy is basically a comic genius. His fantasy world, Discworld, shows the funny side of life. He has written over 20 books in about this world which explore the life of many characters that can be paralleled to characters in our world. There also characters like DEATh, Fate, Luck, etc. This adds another dimension of humour into the novels. Apart from being funny, the books also have a good story. 2. The book This is Your Life by John O'Farrel explores how one can succeed in life without actually doing anything. The story follows character who wants to be a comedian as a kid and has written journals about how to act when he is grown up. When, as a grown up, he finds the journals and realizes that his life is not what he wanted. What follows is a funny sequence of events that leads to his fame and glory.
